David Tennant And Billie Piper 'Doctor Who Return'

Much-loved pair reportedly returning for sci-fi show's 50th anniversary special...

David Tennant and Billie Piper will be reviving their partnership as the Doctor and Rose Tyler in this year's eagerly awaited Doctor Who 50th anniversary special, it has been reported.
The pair are reported by The Mirror to be joining current Time Lord Matt Smith and his new assistant Jenna-Louise Coleman in the feature-length special - which [uuid=223086e9-03f5-4ac4-be46-b0c10edc050a]is being filmed in 3D[/uuid].
And they are claimed by the paper to be heading to the BBC show's set next week to film their scenes.
The news comes in spite of [uuid=6d11520f-9e20-4c87-9ea9-86de897d368c]a previous denial by Piper[/uuid] when she appeared on The Graham Norton Show.
She said: "I wasn’t asked, no. I think Matt Smith may have said, in passing or in jest, it would be nice. I think maybe he said that and then it became something quite different, but no."
Veteran actor John Hurt is also claimed to be appearing in the special.
