David Tennant Coy On Doctor Who Return
He won't confirm or deny rumours of guest appearance...
Former Doctor Who star David Tennanthas been playing it cool about the prospect of his returning to the show as a one-off to mark its 50th anniversary.
Quizzed on the matter by US TV's Attack Of The Show!, the former Timelord was coy - but didn't deny the rumours.
He said: "I cannot be drawn on anything. Who knows what will happen next year? I'm sure there are lots of plans being discussed.
"I am not confirming nor denying anything."
He also had a joke about an old episode from 2006 which saw him light the Olympic flame.
He said: "What happened? What went wrong? I was waiting for the phone call... there was an online petition apparently, which the London Organising Committee chose to ignore!"
We told you earlier this week that Richard E Grant had been signed to play a villain on the forthcoming series of the sci-fi show.
