Filming has been taking place for theDoctor Who 50th anniversary special in London's Trafalgar Square.

Star Matt Smith was watched by a huge crowd as he dangled from the Tardis in an exciting scene for the feature-length special - with co-star Jenna-Louise Coleman, who plays assistant Clara, looking on.
Guest star Jemma Redgrave was also present as the episode was filmed in typically damp British conditions at one of the world's most famous landmarks.
It was recently confirmed that former stars David Tennant and Billie Piper will be [uuid=cbe4d981-48a0-464b-80d1-db76e0252c29]returning for the one-off special[/uuid] - which is being filmed in 3D and will enjoy a limited cinema release.
It will be broadcast by the BBC later this year.
