A trailer for the eagerly awaited Doctor Who50th anniversary special will be screened on BBC One this evening, it has been revealed.
The BBC has confirmed that it will be showing the promo at 8.20pm, before the latest episode of drama Atlantis.
Fans had complained back in July that they hadn't been given the opportunity to see a trailer for the one-off episode which had been aired to attendees of Comic Con.

The episode stars outgoing Doctor Matt Smith and his predecessor David Tennant, along with their respective assistants Jenna Coleman and Billie Piper.
