Doctor Who Christmas Special - New Pictures

More pictures have been released from this year's Doctor Who Christmas Special -Matt Smith and his new companion Clara Oswin, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman in Victorian costume.

Set on Christmas Eve in 1892, the festive episode guest stars Richard E Grant and Tom Ward - and features a group of razor-toothed snowmen as its villains.

We reported yesterday how Matt Smith had hinted that the Doctor is attracted to his new assistant.
