The stars, who play the Doctor and his new assistant Clara Oswin, will be returning to the small screen on 30 March - and the BBC has released the posters to build anticipation among fans.
The first episode after the long mid-season break will be The Bells Of St John - which is written by show boss Steven Moffat.
Described as a "modern-day urban thriller", it sees the Time Lord fighting a threat lurking in the Wi-Fi networks of London and guest stars Celia Imrie.
The Rings of Akhaten sees The Doctor and Clara visiting far-away planet Akhaten, where something evil is stirring in the pyramids.
