Doctor Who will be facing possibly his biggest enemies yet when the seventh series (since its relaunch) of the popular sci-fi drama hits our screens in the autumn.
The second episode of the series ups the ante on the Samuel L Jackson movie Matt Smith, who plays the Doctor, will be meeting some more familiar foes in the first episode - Asylum Of The Daleks.
And he'll be heading west in the third episode, A Town Called Mercy.
Moffat, who is also the show's lead writer, added: "A Town Called Mercy takes us into a genre Doctor Who hasn't attempted since the Sixties – it’s a full-blooded Western."

Karen Gillan and Rory Williams will star with Matt Smith in the first episodes, with new assistant Jenna-Louise Coleman expected to arrive later in the series.
