The Disco diva is reported to have lost her battle with cancer...

Queen of Disco Donna Summer is reported to have passed away, aged 63.
According to TMZ, the Last Dance hitmaker lost her battle with cancer this morning (17th May). It is thought she was in Florida at the time of her death.
A source close to Summer has told the website that the Disco legend "was trying to keep the extent of her illness under wraps."
Donna hit the big time back in the 1970's, where some of her most famous hits were This Time I Know It's For Real and She Works Hard For The Money.
Summer leaves behind her husband - singer/producer Bruce Sudano - and their daughters Brooklyn and Amanda, as well as her daughter Mimi from a previous relationship.

Donna's family have since released a statement, telling RumorFix: "Early this morning, we lost Donna Summer Sudano, a woman of many gifts, the greatest being her faith.
"While we grieve her passing, we are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy. Words truly can’t express how much we appreciate your prayers and love for our family at this sensitive time.”
