Dr. Dre Named Forbes' Highest Paid Hip-Hop Act 2014
Despite not having released an album or gone on tour this past 12 months, Dr. Dre has still been named the World's Highest Paid Hip-Hop Act of 2014.
The music mogul topped Forbes' list with an estimated $620million in earnings, the highest of any musician ever evaluated by the magazine.
[related]A large thanks goes to Apple who bought out Beats by Dre for a mere $3.2billion, making it no surprise that the huge sum of money is more than what the next 24 artists earned combined!
Both Diddy and Jay Z earned second place on the list with a respective $60million each, with Shawn Carter's growing Roc Nation empire, new album and tour and his drink, 'D'Ussé cognac to thank.
Diddy also has Diageo's Cîroc vodka to playing a part in his profits, as well as various other business ventures he has.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Drake finish off the top five respectively, earning around $32million each.
