Luke Evans has promised that new movie Dracula Untold will be filled with "eternal darkness", while also revealing his reasons for wanting to play the famous bloodsucker.
When asked by MTV News why he wanted to get involved with this take on the classic tale, Evans claimed: "The clue is in the title, it's Dracula Untold. It's not the Bram Stoker Dracula that everybody knows of, it's the untold origin stories of the historical figure that actually inspired the story of Dracula 400 years later. "You meet Vlad Tepes - who is also famously known as Vlad the Impaler - and you follow this human, this man who is a father, a husband and a leader of his people and you see his journey and how he becomes the most famous vampire of all time."
Speaking of why fans should check out his movie, Luke added: "It's got everything, there's a love story, there's action, there's heartbreak, sacrifice, romance, pain, suffering, and eternal darkness."
Dracula Untold swoops into UK cinemas this Friday, October 3.
