Drake has dismissed rumours of a feud withLil Wayneafter reports that their Las Vegas performance ended in a punch-up.

Wayne joined his protégé on stage for the final night of his Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour on 6 November, just days after being released from jail.

But, if you believe the rumours, tensions boiled over backstage just minutes after the reunion and Wayne punched Drake.

The Thank Me Later star has since played down the incident and compared it to the game Punch Buggy. “You got the story wrong,” Drake wrote on Twitter. “Lil Wayne punched me in my arm cause he saw a VW beetle pass by... Haaa.”

A spokesperson for Drake also denied there was a problem between the pair. “There were no disruptions. The concert and after-party went off without a hitch,” he said.

But Drake did admit he didn’t know Wayne was going to join him on stage at the Vegas gig. Apparently his mentor had told him he wasn’t available to perform so he was as surprised as the crowd when the Lollipop star ran on stage.
