He beat Tom Petty and Sarah McLachlan to the top spot on the Billboard 200.
But Drake is likely to be knocked down in next week’s chart when Eminem’s new album Recovery hits the chart.
He’s expected to sell upwards of 500,000 comfortably beating Drizzy- who he worked with on the Forever track.
In other Drake news MTV News understands that the rapper has pulled out of a scheduled show at Wireless festival next month.
He was due to play on the same day as Jay-Z, Professor Green, Tinie Tempah and Lily Allen but has now cancelled a week of his European tour and promo.
