This Week In ‘Drake Is Unstoppable': Drizzy closes in on Wet Wet Wet’s Chart Record
Nothing can stop Drake. NOTHING.
There are few certain things in the universe. But one thing that you can be 100% sure of on this massive asteroid that’s hurtling through space and towards certain oblivion, is that Drake’s ‘One Dance’ will be sitting atop the UK’s singles chart.
Prime Ministers can fall, the sun can actually come out and Brexit can become a genuine f**king thing, but there’s no halting our lord and commander: Drake Unstoppable.
Hulk Hogan. The Mountain from Game of Thrones. [Insert example of large human being]. They’re nothing compared to the ultimate immovable object: Drizzy.
Currently hitting out in front of the pack in this week’s Official Singles Chart, Drake’s ‘One Dance’ is set to make history.
If ‘One Dance’ tops for a fifteenth successive week, Drake will match Wet Wet Wet’s massive run at the top with 1994’s ‘Love Is All Around’. Damn.
PLUS THERE’S MORE. If Drake can go another week and hit that sweet sweet 16, he will equal Bryan Adams’ record-breaking run of 16 straight weeks at number one. DAMN.
To summarise: Drake is really, really good at his job and probably quite wealthy. Also, Bryan Adams is going to spend the next few days absolutely bricking it.
In other Drake news, the Canadian superstar has shared an old letter he sent to his Mum apologising for loading her credit card with “ebay charges”.
