Dua Lipa Scores Her First US Top 10 Single with 'New Rules'
She is unstoppable...
Dua Lipa's ascent to superstardom has been incredible. After making a splash in the UK Top 40 in 2016 with hits like 'Blow Your Mind (Mwah)' and 'Hotter Than Hell', the 'No Lies' singer became a chart mainstay in 2017 and now she's conquering the US.
'New Rules' has just risen to Number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and become her first US Top 10 hit.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL. DUA LIPA HAS NOW SCORED HER VERY OWN US TOP 10 SINGLE.
The girl power anthem has been popular ever since its release last July but radio airplay in the US has taken a while to catch up with the streams that the single's been receiving on major music and music video platforms like YouTube and Apple Music.
Just last week the UK Number 1 hit was streamed over 3.6 million times on US Spotify alone.
That's not all though. The 'Scared to Be Lonely' singer will also be performing on SNL for the very first time next month. The star tweeted: "I have the craziest butterflies rn and i’m nervous just typing this out. A dream come true... someone pinch me!"
Fingers crossed that she will use give us renditions of 'New Rules' and new single 'IDGAF'.
We love both and believe that 'IDGAF' has the potential to become as big as 'New Rules'.
