The upcoming Baywatch movie just got even more exciting, with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson confirming that original cast member Pamela Anderson has joined the film alongside the likes of himself and Zac Efron.

How’s that for a film cast, eh?

In case you didn’t know (or just need a gentle reminder), Pamela played CJ Parker the lifeguard in the original Baywatch series from 1992-1997.

Sharing a photo of himself and Pamela, perhaps from the film’s set, on Instagram, Dwayne wrote: “She introduced the world to "CJ Parker" and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation - for the most successful TV show of all time.

“A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our #BAYWATCH cast. We couldn't have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us! #BAYWATCH MAY 19, 2017. #PamAnderson #OS #OriginalSmokestack”.

It’s not clear what role Pamela will have in the film as Kelly Rohrbach is playing the role of her original character.Watch this space, guys. Watch. This. Space.
