The Rock 'Told To Quit WWE By Michael Bay'
Movie director claimed to have said it's time for Dwayne Johnson to 'grow up'...
The 40-year-old star, real name Dwayne Johnson, missed Tuesday's Pain & Gain premiere in Los Angeles because he underwent hernia surgery earlier this week, following injuries sustained during his bout with John Cena at WWE Wrestlemania 29.
And The Sun quotes producer and director Bay as declaring: "He was pushing it too hard. He needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300lb men."
And Rock has now hinted that he could be coming round to Bay's point of view - despite having previously arranged a big match with WWE pal Brock Lesnar.
He apparently told New York radio host Peter Rosenberg: "Was it my last match? Possibly.
"I'm really not too sure and I wouldn't rule it out. The original plan was possibly Brock and myself. That was the next thing that made sense to me.
"I love Brock and we've been friends for over a decade now. We could have a great, athletic match. That was the plan.
"But, when I tore tendons off my pelvis, I had to fly home that day, so we couldn't do what we wanted to do at Raw that day. Possibly down the road."
