The protest is in response to the sexual abuse scandal that has rocked Hollywood this year.

InStyle stylist Ilaria Urbinati says Hollywood’s leading men will also be following the all-black protest.

She highlighted a Hollywood Reporter article about the protest plans which states: “The red carpet blackout is still on track - for women and men.”

Taking to Instagram: “Because everyone keeps asking me... YES, the men WILL be standing in solidarity with women on this wearing-all-black movement to protest against gender inequality at this year’s Golden Globes. At least ALL MY GUYS will be. Safe to say this may not be the right time to choose to be the odd man out here... just sayin…”

And, responding to the post, The Rock himself confirmed he will be supporting the movement.

“Yes we will,” he affirmed via the social media app.
