American Assassin: Here’s A First Look At Dylan O’Brien Camera Testing As Mitch Rapp

YAS.

After reports earlier this year claimed that Dylan O’Brien was ‘in negotiations’ to play Mitch Rapp in the upcoming American Assassin adaptation, a first look at the actor’s camera test has been revealed.

And, whilst it doesn’t give much away, it does make us pretty excited for what’s to come from this film.

The photowas shared on the American Assassin Facebook page, with the caption: “A behind the scenes image from Dylan O'Brien's camera test as Mitch Rapp.

“It's going to be a busy week for American Assassin fans.”

Well, they DO say patience is a virtue - and it looks like we’re going to have to be really patient to find out more details.

Back in May, Deadline reported that the Maze Runner actor was in negotiations for the film, which is a Michael Cuesta-directed adaptation of Vince Flynn’s novel series.

Dylan is set to play main character Mitch, who completes covert counter-terrorist operations for the CIA, alongside Michael Keaton, who’ll play Cold War veteran Stan Hurley who will take Mitch under his wing.

Production, which is reportedly set to begin this Autumn, will have to fit around filming for 'TheMaze Runner: The Death Cure', which was postponed after Dylan suffered a horrific injury on set.
