Linda’s back

Remember how last week we were pretty pleased that Whitney and her aubergine hair were back on the Square? This is about 10,000 times more exciting. Linda Carter’s back – hooray! It feels like she’s been gone FOREVER. But will Linda regret returning? Frankly, yes.

The threesome

We’re referring, of course, to the exciting three-hander episode featuring only Mick, Linda and Whitney. It looks to be a corker. Linda pushes Mick to tell her the truth about what’s been going on while she’s away but is devastated when he admits what happened with Whitney.

What next for Whitney?

Whitney can’t help but overhear Mick and Linda rowing, as she’s staying in their pub. We knew that was a bad idea. And it didn’t last for long: Linda, unsurprisingly, chucks Whit out of her home when she finds out she’s been carrying on with her husband. 

The end of the Carters?

Will our favourite EastEnd twosome EVER (other than Hugh Edwards and Lenny Wallace – obvs) be able to make a go of things? Or is love basically dead? We do hope it’s the former. 

Max is basically awful

Across the Square, Max Branning is still using Carmel Kazemi for her council connections, not that she knows it. Carmel is obviously really annoying but we can’t help but feel a bit sorry for her. At least this week Max goes public with their relationship. That’s got to be a good sign, right?

Steven can’t play a player

What on earth does Steven Beale think he’s playing at? As well as lying to Lauren Branning about the state of his health and spying on her, he takes a new descent into WTAF? when he thinks he can outwit Max. Lol – good luck with that one, fella. Never. Gonna. Happen.

Bad Brannings everywhere

And that’s not the only Branning he has beef with – Abi is nawt impressed that Steven is still with Lauren and not her. Because a relationship that starts when you steal your sister’s boyfriend is going to be so healthy, right? Sigh.
