EastEnders spoilers: Whitney's Wedding Plans, Monday 31 July – Friday 4 August
Coming up in EastEnders, Whitney Carter waltzes back into the Square, but not everyone is overjoyed to see her or her massive rock.
Guess who’s back? Back again.
Whitney’s back, tell your friends. She doesn’t look super happy to be in the Vic again though, despite her lovely new hair. Mick Carter is supportive of her moving in at the pub, which is a bit weird TBH. But it’s Johnny Carter who first suggests it. Gotta love a bit of Johnny. And it’s not all gloom for Whit…
What a sparkler
She’s engaged! To Lee Ryan! Sorry, we mean Woody Woodward. Blimey, she moves fast. The divorce papers from Lee Carter came through only a few weeks ago. Still, best way of getting over someone and all that. But is Mick pleased? No Mick is not, as he does not approve of Whitney’s choice. Oh dear, we’ve got a bad feeling about this.
The wrath of Shirley
Someone else with a face like a smacked bot-bot this week is Shirley Carter. She is nawwwwwt happy that Whitney is back in their lives and bedded in at the Vic. Could it be because Whit is one of the few people with the nerve to stand up to our East End queen? Just sayin’.
A friend in need
At least one person is pleased that Whitney’s back in E20. Lauren Branning really needs a friend right now and breaks down telling her pal what’s going on with Steven Beale. And she doesn’t even know the worst of it: that he’s spying on her at work and that he’s told a massive porky about his health.
The truth will out
But not this week, alas. Lauren forces Steven to go to hospital for help. How will he get out of this one? Actually, fairly easily with a bit of aid from sneaky Abi Branning. But Steven gets an unpleasant shock when Max Branning turns up to wait with him.
Following the scene at the hospital, will Max save his daughter’s agony and force Steven to tell the truth? Lololololol. Max will do what he always does: what’s best for him.
For the loss of his apprenticeship, which comes to an end this week. Look, it’s a weak link but we can’t wait for someone to pop their clogs before using a pun that good. And will Keanu Taylor get a job at the end of it all? Fingers crossed.
