Jason Donovan Abducted By The Cast Of EastEnders

But don't worry, it's all in honour of Neighbours' 30th anniversary...

Jason Donovan finds himself subjected to a very special "East End welcome" in a special video created by the cast of EastEnders to mark Neighbours' 30th anniversary.

The actor, who played Scott on the show back in the late 1980s, has teamed up with Adam Woodyatt, Danny Dyer and Annette Badland among others to celebrate the Aussie show hitting that milestone.

[related]The actor arrives in Albert Square and is perplexed to be given the cold shoulder by the locals, as Dyer's Mick Carter bundles a body into the back of his 4x4 outside the Queen Vic.

Aunt Babe is then shown making a huge trifle, which she presents to the visitor - who is revealed to be bound and gagged on a chair inside the pub.

It ends with smiles all round as the hostage is released and the cast all shout "happy anniversary" to their Antipodean counterparts - led by Woodyatt (aka Ian Beale).

He explained that it was something the cast had wanted to do after the Neighbours crew paid tribute to them when 'Enders hit thirty last month.

"We couldn't let the Neighbours 30th anniversary pass without celebrating, especially after the great tribute they did for us last month," he said.

"Everyone at EastEnders absolutely loved it. So from all of us in Albert Square to everyone in Ramsay Street, have a very happy birthday."

One thing is still bothering us though.

How's Adam?
