Did Ed Sheeran Just Admit That He And Cherry Seaborn Have Got Married In Secret?

It looks like Ed Sheeran may have surprised everyone by secretly tying the knot with fiancée Cherry Seaborn and managing to keep the entire ceremony under lock and key. 

While he’s never been massively forthcoming about his private life, fans noticed that he had an interesting response to a question about his wedding plans during a recent interview with Access.

When the host asked: "What about the wedding details? Have you picked a date? Do you know where? Do you know when yet?" the 28-year-old simply pointed to a ring on his wedding finger and said nothing else.

Assuming that this was Ed’s way of confirming his marriage, the interviewer responded: “Ah, right,” and began laughing. 'That's exciting! Congratulations my friend! Congratulations! How did you sneak that one?" 

Just incase the world needed another hint that his single days are behind him, Ed pointed out that he’s always managed to keep his personal life out of the press: "Well I never do anything too public anyway."

Throwing a bit of a spanner in the works, the singer had previously told Good Morning Britain that the band on his left hand isn’t a wedding ring: "I’m not married. I’m wearing an engagement ring as well. I feel like, you know, you both should," he said.

So, all things considered, there’s a good chance that Ed may have misheard the interviewer’s marriage question and just mistakenly pointed to his engagement ring. Or he and Cherry genuinely have pulled off an entire wedding on the DL.
