A Fan Listened To Ed Sheeran's Music So Much She Got Arrested
Just a word of warning for everyone playing the album on repeat rn.
You might think you're Ed Sheeran's biggest fan, but owning all his albums, buying tickets to all his shows and having even once bid £53.22 for a lock of his hair on eBay just isn't going to cut it compared to the woman who actually got herself arrested for listening to his music, she loved it that much.
According to ITV, the woman in question listened to Ed's song Shape Of You so incesseantly and so loudly that she was arrested and eventually even got some jail time for it.
It's worth saying that this wasn't the first time Willenhall resident Sonia Bryce has got in trouble for 'creating a nuisance' and she'd been warned via court order about noise levels before, so really playing Ed's music was probably just the straw that broke the camel's back.
In the end, her landlords were so annoyed at all the complaints about her playing Ed on repeat that they took action and after things ended up in court, a judge ruled she had caused a 'wholly unacceptable level of disturbance' and has since sentenced her to eight weeks prison time.
"You must learn that you should behave as a reasonable and responsible adult and not make life for your neighbours the misery that you have," the judge is quoted as telling Sonia.
So next time you're feeling a bit emo and decide to blast one of Ed's heartbreak ballads at 3am, maybe give a thought for your neighbours and put your headphones in instead.
Now why not watch this vid of people taking an awkward af game of sexy Would You Rather…
