Ed Sheeran 'Feels Bad' Over Calling Miley Cyrus A Stripper

The singer has held his hands up and explained he didn't mean to say what he did about Mi-Cy...

Ed Sheeran has admitted he regrets lashing out at Miley Cyrus for performing a "stripper move" during her infamous MTV VMA performance last year, insisting he just got his words muddled up.

"I was a bit of a c**t. I do feel bad about it as if I'd be f**king livid if someone said that about me," he told The Sun recently.

"My general point was I wanted her to sing the songs so people could see what an amazing artist she is. I just worded it wrong."

Ed also revealed that he has forgiven whoever his song 'Don't' is about, which tells the story of his then-girlfriend cheating on him with a mate - widely rumoured to be Ellie Goulding and Niall Horan.

On whether he is a forgiving person, Ed said: "I guess. I got over the anger the moment I wrote the song. That's the end of it. I'm grateful I could get a song out of it, to be honest."

"I don't feel it's about anyone any more, I'm not attached to that. The moment you attach someone to a song it becomes more difficult to sing every night," he added.

The Brit singer has also showed his support for his BFF Taylor Swift, after Olly Murs slammed her for writing songs about her ex Harry Styles.

Not one to take such criticism, T-Swift branded Olly's comments "sexist" insisting that he wouldn't say that about a guys' love songs.

"She's right, man," Ed claimed. "She gets a tougher rap than other people. No one talks about Bruno Mars' or my lyrics like that."
