Ed Sheeran has added yet another amazing accolade to his collection with the news that his global smash hit sophomore album X has hit the 2 million sales mark, joining a select band of chosen superstars to hit the same achievement.
Just nine months after its release last June, X, which gave Ed two UK No.1s with 'Sing' and 'Thinking Out Loud' passed the 2 million mark earlier this week the Official Charts Company can confirm, and is the sixth fastest-selling 2 million-seller of the Millennium so far.
X is only the fifth album to pass the 2 million mark since the start of the decade following the likes of Adele, Take That, Emeli Sande and Michael Bublé. Go Ed!
