Ed Sheeran Melts Hearts By Performing A Mini-Concert For A Poorly Fan
Makes hearts melt.
Ed Sheeran proved that he is literally the nicest guy in the music industry after putting on a mini-concert for a fan who was too poorly to attend one of his shows.
Ten-year old Melody Driscoll suffers with a rare brain condition called Rett Syndrome, which is a medical issue that results in severe mental and physical disability.
Her parents have previously credited Ed's music with "keeping her alive," joking that she's been "taken" with him ever since he visited her in hospital last year.
Telling Mirror Online that Ed was determined Melody would get to see him live in spite of her condition, her mum said: "Ed created a mini concert just for her.
"She got to experience the amazing sound and atmosphere of seeing Ed live on stage, complete with all staging and lighting effects including all the big screens.
"He let her pick what songs she wanted him to sing to her and spent one on time together gazing in each other's eyes.
She added: "It was the most amazing thing to watch. The love they have for each other is obvious for anyone to see."
Even better, Melody's mum has confirmed that Ed wants to pencil in a third date for his "princess", but we're guessing he'll find it pretty tough having to top a private concert.
