Ed Sheeran Knocks Harry Styles From No.1 After Just One Week At The Top

Harry Styles' run at No.1 on the Official UK Singles Chart has been scuppered after just one week, from the very man he dethroned in the first place. Yep, Ed Sheeran's back at the top with 'Shape Of You' - the track's 14th non-consecutive week at No.1.

In terms of non-consecutive chart toppers, Ed's only got to beat Frankie Laine who spent 18 weeks at No.1 in three stints in 1953 with 'I Believe'. And as for Harry's one week at the top, weirdly, the last one-week reign at No.1 was Harry's ex-1D pal ZAYN with 'PILLOWTALK' back in February 2016.

Clean Bandit are still waiting in the wings for chart glory too, with 'Symphony' Ft. Zara Larsson edging to a new high at No.2, while Ed's 'Galway Girl' sticks at No.3 and Harry Styles slips to No.4.
