The Irish singeris signed to Sheeran’s label Gingerbread Man, and the pair have been matessince they toured together in 2013.

Ed Sheeran has been keeping a low profile over the past few months. Back in December, he posted on Instagram that he’d be taking a break from social media as he works on his third album, which he said "is the best thing I have made thus far".

This isn’t even the first time Ed Sheeran has made a surprise appearance at Latitude Festival. The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer appeared unannounced last year too, playing a 75-minute set.

Introducing Sheeran to the crowd, Vance said “I’ve got someone else to sing along with us, he’s a home boy from this territory…please put your hands together for Ed Sheeran!”

Everyone promptly lost it.
