Ed Sheeran has once again hit back at Noel Gallagher by offering the rocker tickets to his upcoming Wembley Stadium shows.

Earlier this month, the former Oasis star slammed Sheeran during an interview with the NME, stating he "couldn't live in a world" where the Thinking Out Loud singer can headline the huge sporting venue.

He went on to state: "When you hear that kind of polished pop and then there’s a ginger guy with a f**king guitar it seems subversive, but it’s f**king not."

Ed originally hit back at Noel's remarks on Twitter, quipping: "I can live in it, it's really enjoyable."

Now, in an interview with The Daily Star, Ed has revealed that he texted Gallagher and invited him along to one of his Wembley concerts.

"He's always going to be the guy who's outspoken. I wasn't offended. I found it quite cool to be in his interview."

Ed added that he believes it's beneficial to get criticism, stating: "I get a lot of stick from press and people, but it's good to get stick. That's why Americans go off the rails.

"Ego-wise you are risen and risen and risen. Your ego grows. If you speak to anyone from Adele to Chris Martin, they would say they are grounded 'cos they get a hiding from press."
