Ed Sheeran is reportedly seeking to broker a peace deal between warring boy bands The Wanted and One Direction.
The Sun newspaper reports that the ginger pop ninja has offered to set-up a summit between the two groups, whose war of words has escalated over the past 12 months.
Being friends with both groups, Ed is viewed as the perfect man to help them settle their differences - and Tom Parker from The Wanted told The Sun that he wants them to end the silliness.
“He said the whole thing is stupid and wants us to get over it because he's close to both groups.
"I think if we sat down and got drunk together then we would probably all get on."
And he revealed that Ed made the offer during a visit to The Wanted's tour bus earlier this year.
"We're pretty close with him. We ordered bottles of Jagermeister and drank the night away. But he went to bed before us.
"Well, to be honest, he ended up passed out on the bunk!"
And Tom extended an olive branch to 1D by admitting that he regretted questioning Louis Tomlinson's sexuality via Twitter.
"I regret saying that. I was a bit p***ed off with myself but it was a heat-of-the-moment thing."
And Tom admitted that the rivalry was a bit of a storm in a teacup.
"It's not exactly BLUR and OASIS but there is a bit of competition.
"We started off just performing in clubs. I'm not saying they haven't worked hard, but we didn't have the help of a big TV show like X Factor."
The Wanted challenged 1D to a boxing match earlier this year.
