Prince William Never Wants Ed Sheeran And Wayne Rooney To Duet Again

Remember that time Wayne Rooney thought he could sing? So does HRH Prince William...

You know it's serious when a member of the Royal Family tells you they're not a fan.

Well this is what's happened to Ed Sheeran, as Prince William recently told him there must be no more duets with Wayne Rooney, after the two performed an intoxicated duet together.

Wills met the singer at the Royal Variety Performance, as he joked: “Er, no more duets with Wayne Rooney.”

Ed later revealed just how that infamous drinking session came about, telling the Mirror: “Rooney’s been trying to come to a gig for three years."

“Chris Smalling, Wretch 32 and Example were there, as well as our mates – we had a lock in until 4am.

“Then I took it back to my hotel room, with everyone and we finished around 7am.”

Though Ed isn't sure Wills was simply looking through his twitter timeline and stumbled upon the video himself.

“I think they have a dude that preps them so they have one thing to mention,” he said.

“He knew something about all the people he met before me – it’s an amazing skill. I was like: ‘Thanks for having me, mate. Nice one.’”

Ed added: “I don’t know if they’re fans. Do royals have iPods and things like that?”
