OMG. This is so sweet.

Shawn Mendes’ 15-year-old dreams came true last night when his musical hero Ed Sheeran joined him onstage to help sing one of his songs.

The ‘Treat You Better’ singer was almost at the end of his show when he sent Brooklyn’s Barclays Center into a wild frenzy with the surprise performance.

He was performing ‘Mercy’ when Sheeran casually strolled on with an acoustic guitar to sing the second verse, before they finished the song together in sweet harmony.

His fans were - understandably - screaming like their lives depended on it when the ‘Shape Of You’ superstar appeared, as though it’s not enough seeing Shawn Mendes and Charlie Puth in one night?

Shawn was performing the sold-out show as part of his massive Illuminate World Tour, which kicked off in the UK back in April and will wrap up in Tokyo in December.

We’re not going to hold any grudges but we are very jealous we weren’t in the crowd when this happened…
