Ed Sheeran has revealed that he might be heading to Westeros for a role in hit TV series,' Game Of Thrones'.

Yep, the ‘Bloodstream’ singer has claimed that he’s previously been in talks to appear on the HBO show, but touring has always prevented his dream from becoming a reality.

[related]Sheeran explained to The Sun: “'There were talks ages ago of me being an extra, which could have been cool.

“But I've got that time off this year, so I'm going to hound them.”

One person who will be hoping that Ed manages to land a cameo in the series is Maisie Williams - who plays Arya Stark- and has made no secret of the fact that she’s a fan of the ‘Thinking Out Loud’ hitmaker.

During an appearance on 'The Late Late Show' last October, she gushed: “When I was a bit younger, Game of Thrones wasn't as big as it was now, he tweeted about the show and said that he was a fan. For me, that was the most amazing thing ever.

“So, I tweeted him and told him that I really like his music. He didn't reply for a little while as he didn't see my tweet, but he got back to me a week later, and it was just the most amazing thing ever.”

Last week, Sheeran totally lost it when a New Zealand radio show presented him with Jon Snow’s ACTUAL sword from GOT, with the red-haired wonder describing the gift as “the best thing” that’s ever happened to him.
