Ellen Page has revealed that she has received "nothing but support" since coming out.
The X-Men: Days of Future Past actress first spoke openly about her sexuality at the Human Rights Campaign's Time to Thrive event in Las Vegas, with Page now telling Access Hollywood that she's been surprised by all the positivity.
Ellen admitted: "I've experienced basically nothing but support, it's actually really kind of blown my mind. I thought there would be a lot more viciousness."
She went on to admit that she did expect some kind of backlash from the public, explaining: "You're afraid and for some reason you have this perspective, because of probably your own anxiety.
"So to me, (the response has) been the most beautiful thing, because it's so indicative of the change that's happened and the growth that's happening. So for me, it's been basically nothing but support."
