Ellie Goulding Breaks Up Fight At Eden Project Show
The Burn babe was forced to act after a group of girls clashed at her headline gig in Cornwall...
Ellie Goulding turned peacemaker at her Eden Project show in Cornwall last night (July 9).
The Goodness Gracious singer was forced to break up a fight between a group of girls, which took place as the star was performing her hit single, Anything Can Happen.
Swore upon the sun, I'd save you for a rainy day
Loosen the noose and let go of the rope
I know if it's never coming back, it has to go
I keep calling your name (keep calling your name)
I wanna hold you close but I never wanna feel ashamed
So I keep calling at night (keep calling at night)
I wanna hold you close, I just never wanna hold you tight
Goodness gracious, I can't seem to stop
Calling it off, calling it off just to keep crawling to your arms
Goodness gracious, I can't seem to stop
Calling it off, calling it off just to keep crawling to your arms
I found the weakness and put it to play
Swore upon the stars, I'd keep you till the night was day
Shake my head dizzy, so I'll never know
You said if you're never coming back, you have to go
I keep calling your name (keep calling your name)
I wanna hold you close but I never wanna feel ashamed
So I keep calling at night (keep calling at night)
I wanna hold you close, I just never wanna hold you tight
Goodness gracious, I can't seem to stop
Calling it off, calling it off just to keep crawling to your arms
Goodness gracious, I can't seem to stop
Calling it off, calling it off just to keep crawling to your arms
Calling it off just to keep crawling to your arms
Calling it off just to keep crawling to your arms
Oh my goodness, here I go again
Pulling you back to me
Pulling you back into my arms so selfishly
I don't think I understand, 'cause I don't really know myself
I keep calling you up, calling you up
Calling you up, calling you up, calling you up
(So I can call)
Goodness gracious, I can't seem to stop
Calling it off, calling it off just to keep crawling to your arms
Goodness gracious, I can't seem to stop
Calling it off, calling it off just to keep crawling to your arms
Calling it off just to keep crawling to your arms
Calling it off just to keep crawling to your arms
According to Digital Spy, Ellie addressed the clash, stating: "Girls, what's up? That song is meant to be happiness, not fights.
"No drink throwing. It's not nice. It's really annoying and it's bloody sticky."
When one of the girls answered her back, Goulding replied: "We've all got stories, doesn't mean you have to tell them."
The crowd then proceeded to boo the girls, with the 27-year old quickly expressingher dismay at the negativity, claiming: "Stop boos. Booing isn't nice."
Ellie later concluded that it was "quite a laddish crowd" at the gig, what with the "fights breaking out, drinks spilling".
Last month, Dizzee Rascal also had to step in and stop a ruckus at the same venue, after two men clashed at his Eden Project show.
