Ellie Goulding Ends Mark Ronson's Singles Chart Reign

Song from Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack takes down Uptown Funk...

Ellie Goulding's Love Me Like You Do has ended Mark Ronson's run at the top of the Official UK Singles Chart.

The song from the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack has become Goulding's second No 1 - after 2013's Burn - and has knocked Uptown Funk (ft. Bruno Mars) down to No 2.

Take Me To Church by Hozier also fell one place to No 3 while Kanye West, Rihanna & Paul McCartney's FourFiveSeconds rose one spot to No 4 - swapping places with Meghan Trainor's Lips Are Movin.

Meanwhile over in the Official UK Albums Chart there was a new No 1 in the form of rock legend Bob Dylan's Shadows In The Night.

Ed Sheeran's x was a non mover at No 2 and Meghan Trainor's Title fell two spots to No 3.

Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour stayed still at No 4 and Hozier's self-titled debut LP rounded out the top five.
