Elton John: 'Madonna's Career Is Over'

Music legend re-ignites feud with Queen of Pop over GaGa rivalry...

Sir Elton John has re-opened his war of words with Madonna with a scathing attack on her career and her current tour.

The pop veteran has apparently been riled by Madge's attitude to his friend Lady GaGa "borrowing" the melody from Express Yourself for Born This Way.

Speaking on Australian TV's Sunday Night, he said: "Why is she such a nightmare? Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger c***.

"If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray Of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly.

"But no, she had to go and prove... she looks like a f****** fairground stripper. She's been horrible to Gaga."

Madonna has made reference to the similarity between her and GaGa's tunes by singing a few lines from Born This Way over the end of Express Yourself on her current MDNA tour - and then launching into her own She's Not Me.

Elton and Madge's feud dates back to the mid-noughties - when he accused her of lip-syncing.
