Elyar Fox Jokes About Retirement & Having A Family!
Brand New For 2014 hopeful opens up to District MTV...
Elyar Foxmay have only just released his debut single District MTV, the Brand New For 2014 contender took a leaf out of Justin Bieber's book by joking that he plans to retire following the release of his debut LP.
When asked about his plans, the 18-year old quipped: "I'm gonna retire, move to an exotic country, chill out, have a family. Nah, only joking.
"The single's just come out hasn't it, 'Do It All Over Again'! I think I'm really gonna be pushing that as much as I can and I'll take it from there."
Speaking of whether he plans to hit the studio in the very near future, Fox added: "Not too soon, because I haven't even gone on my first tour yet, but I'm already thinking up new songs.
"I've already written over 100 tracks for the album and we've just narrowed it down to about 20. This morning I had like five new song ideas before I came to the shoot, but it's all about touring now. I can't wait to just finally perform it all for everyone."
As for what inspires his music, Eylar continued to joke: "Y'know, I came out of a long marriage and obviously the divorce was quite difficult. The wife took my money and ran away with a young Spanish guy called Andre. It was difficult, but I got over it."
On a more serious note, he concluded: "I guess I just write about things that are going on in my life, I'm always doing things and meeting new people and girls, and that's a big inspiration for me."
Eylar's new single, Do It All Over Again, is out now and you can catch more from his exclusive interview and photoshoot over at District MTV here!
