By submitting your user-generated visual content (including photography, video or other visual artwork) (“Content”) you hereby grant Viacom International Media Networks U.K. Limited (“MTV”) and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies and licensees (“they”, “them” “their”) a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, copy, adapt, transmit, broadcast, publish or delete any information or other material including without limitation, your name; Content; photograph; likeness; biographical information; voice; text; images; designs; audio and/or video clips, submitted to MTV concerning the show, by any means and in any and all media as they, in their discretion, see fit. For the avoidance of doubt (but without limitation) this may include your name, location, and content being broadcast on-air and posted across their social media platforms.
You warrant that you have the necessary authority to grant the rights in the Content to MTV. You hereby indemnify MTV against any and all costs, expenses, damages and other losses (whether direct or indirect) arising from claims that may arise out of exhibition or distribution of the Content provided to MTV hereunder. These terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
The information you provide (such us your name, surname, contact details, DOB and images/other personal data incorporated in the Content you submit) will be processed by MTV for the purposes of contacting you and producing the MTV EMA 2020 and its exploitation in television and on digital media (including social and digital platforms), being the legal bases for such data processing contractual necessity and MTV’s legitimate interest as the producer and broadcaster of the MTV EMA 2020. Your information will be processed for as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected. Your personal data shall only be transferred outside the territory of the EU if there is in place an agreement in accordance with the model clauses approved, a copy of which we will facilitate upon request.
