2018 EMA: Anne-Marie, Bastille and Marshmello's Explosive Medley Closes The Show

'Friends' and 'Happier' in one performance was (almost) too much to handle...

Marshmello has undeniably been one of the biggest stars of 2018.

The super-producer is the mastermind behind many of our favourite songs and he is currently riding high on the charts on both sides of the Atlantic with his single 'Happier', so it only made sense for him to close the show at this year's Europe Music Awards.

The masked DJ brought along two of his, ahem, 'Friends' to help him end the show, as Anne-Marie and Bastille both took to the stage alongside him to perorm their collaborations.

Anne-Marie joined Marshmello onstage for the first half of the performance for a stripped-back rendition of their bouncy hit 'Friends', with the 'Ciao Adios' singer sounding absolutely divine as her vocals took centre stage.

Then, Marshemllo jumped ship to the main stage for a rousing rendition of his current single 'Happier' with British band Bastille, who absolutely smashed it.

Bastille's lead singer Dan Smith sounded incredible as he sang the hit to the wild crowd, who were screaming along to every single word.

Judging by the roaring reaction to both 'Friends' and 'Happier', it's safe to say that Bilbao are mad for Marshmello!
