Avril Lavigne has picked up the awards for Most Addictive Track and Solo Artist Of The Year at the Europe Music Awards 2007.

Racing star Lewis Hamilton presented her with the first award where she beat an array of stars including Amy Winehouse, Mika, Nelly Furtado and Rihanna.

On stage she said: "This is amazing. I'd like to thank the fans for voting for me."

The solo star earlier performed her hit single Hot flanked by her band and 20 dancers in green dresses.

Up soon is the award for Best Video and Amy Winehouse will hit the stage to to perform.

Oh and Snoop is currently hosting while wearing a kilt, while one member of New Sounds Of Europe nominees Firma inexplicably dropped his pants- can it get any better!
