Eminem To Receive Global Icon Award At MTV EMA!
Eminem has just been named as the latest act to recieve the prestigious Global Icon award at the upcoming MTV EMA!
At a press conference this morning (November 9), MTV revealed that the Berzerk rapper and current UK chart-topper would be honoured with the award at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on Sunday night.
Previous winners include rock legends Bon Jovi in 2010, Queen in 2011 and the late pop diva Whitney Houston in 2012.
The hip hop star hinted at his involvement with the show when he posted a teaser clip on Twitter last night.

The 16-second clip showed a boom box playing Eminem's new track Berzerk placed next to an EMA award.
Someone stoops down to pick up the gong and the EMA show information then appears, before the 'E' is turned around as a nod to Em's signature logo.
Co-executive producer of the MTV EMA Bruce Gillmer confirmed today that Eminem will be heading to Amsterdam to accept his award in person.
Hosted by Redfoo, the 2013 MTV EMA will feature performances by Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus, The Killers, Kings Of Leon, Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, Afrojack, Imagine Dragons and Icona Pop in what is sure to be Europe’s biggest party of the year!
