Miley Cyrus has revealed that her set at the 2010 MTV EMA was one of her 'favourite performances ever'.

The starlet was at a very different stage in her career when she hit the stage in Madrid, performing Who Owns My Heart for fans at the Caja Mágica.

Mi-Cy will once again wow the crowd when she performs at the EMA in Amsterdam on Sunday, and yesterday (November 8) we caught up with the Wrecking Ball babe to find out what the awards show has meant to her over the years.

Chatting exclusively to MTV News UK, Miley revealed: "The EMAs were actually one of my favourite things I’ve ever gotten to perform."

The 20-year-old star continued: "I got to do 'Who Owns My Heart' a few years ago and that was one of my favourite performances. It’s always fun, I feel like there’s a sense of freedom that’s there."

The former Disney darling, who delivered the most talked-about performance of the year when she [uuid=cb7e568b-0ee3-4660-8d4b-8b622464784d]twerked with Robin Thicke[/uuid] at the MTV VMAs in August, dished: "I feel also it's fun for me when I get to go to any awards shows 'cause it's like all my friends are in one space."

She added: "Especially when I think you're in Europe it's fun to kind of be in Europe with your friends and get to call it work, but you really just get to perform and hang out with everybody."

Miley is in good company at upcoming EMA, with the star-studded bill of performers including the likes of Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon and Robin Thicke.
