Speaking to MTV News US this week about his about what he has in store for the 2013 MTV EMA, the singer revealed with a laugh: "We are just planning it right now. I'm sure it will be very safe and inoffensive."

Robin is in good company at the big event with the star-studded bill of performers including the likes of Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon and of course Miley Cyrus.

But the 36-year-old star could have something special up his sleeve yet again, teasing the possibility of another top-secret collaboration.

The Give It 2 U crooner dished: "It's in the works. I don't think I'd be able to give it away just yet."

R&B star Robin is up for four awards at the EMAs including Best Song and Best Video for his summer smash Blurred Lines.
