Ron Burgundy Gives Eminem Global Icon Award

San Diego’s finest news anchor Ron Burgundy presented Rap God Eminem with his Global Icon award at tonight’s MTV EMA!

After Em delivered his jaw-dropping set at the big event in Amsterdam, he stepped off the stage to be greeted by special guest Ron.

Holding the award, Slim Shady admitted: “Wow this is crazy! This is nuts. I just wanna say thanks to everybody. Thank you MTV Europe.”

The hip hop legend then took a page out of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' hapless weather man Brick Tamland’s book, staring blankly at the camera and declaring: “I love award.”

When Burgundy (a.k.a. funnyman Will Ferrell) suggested he “loves lamp,” Em even added: “I love math.”

Wrapping up the presentation, Ron jokingly suggested that Dutch DJ Afrojack had been “talking s***” about the rapper, to which Em replied: “Who?”

Burgundy has made several cameos throughout tonight’s ceremony, with clips being shown of the moustache-loving newsman exploring everything the host city has to offer.
