Emilia Clarke Slams Anti-Feminists Who Hated On Her Nude Game Of Thrones Sex Scenes
The Mother of Dragons claps back.
It's fair to say Emilia Clarke's Game of Thrones character Daenerys is exactly the type of badass woman everyone either wants to be, or be with. Despite this the star has revealed she hasn't always found the part a walk in the park, especially when it comes to those saucy sex scenes.
The 30-year-old got real with Elle about being subject to a ton of hate for going nude on the hit show, but regardless of the grief she insists the iconic sex scene with Michiel Huisman in season 4 was a highlight for her.
In fact, the actress was pretty damn grateful for the oppurtunity, she said: "I actually went up to [GOT co-creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss] and thanked them."
"I was like, 'That's a scene I've been waiting for!' Because I get a lot of crap for having done nudes scenes and sex scenes. That, in itself, is so antifeminist." the star added.
Emilia was glad to say a massive F U to the haters: "Women hating on other women is just the problem. That's upsetting, so it's kind of wonderful to have a scene where I was like, 'There you go!'"
Nobody messes with the Mother of Dragons! Even though we literally couldn't imagine anyone better for the part, the star admitted to losing sleep over her fears of messing up.
"Oh God, I get sleepless nights over it. 'Oh, you're gonna mess it up. It's the last season, and it's going to go wrong.' My mates are like, 'It's you—you [and Daenerys] are one and the same now" said the actress.

"The higher everyone places the mantle, the bigger the fall. That sounds really awful, but it's true! I don't want to disappoint anyone."
Oh Emilia, you could never disappoint!
