Eminem Admits Being Bullied On 60 Minutes

Eminem has spoken about being bullied at school, in a new interview with US TV show 60 Minutes.

 

He sat down for a deep and lengthy chat, that was aired last night (Sunday October 9). And he admitted to being beaten up as a child.

 

The Love The Way You Lie star said: “I would change schools two, three times a year and that was probably the roughest part.

 

“[I got] beat up in the bathroom, beat up in the hallways, shoved in the lockers, just, for the most part, being the new kid.”

 

And the Detroit MC said that rap music helped him overcome his problems. He said: “Hip-hop has always been about bragging and boasting and 'I'm better than you at this and I'm better than you at that’.

 

“This kid over here, he may have more chicks or he may have better clothes or whatever but he can't do this like me. He can't write what I'm writing right now."
