Eminem Set For Biggest Debut Of 2010

On the Billboard chart…

Eminem’s Recovery album looks set to sell 741,000 in its first week of release in the US.
That will easily set the record for the biggest debut week of 2010 on the Billboard chart- ahead of LPs from Sade and Lady Antebellum released earlier this year.
The preliminary figures also show that the album is so far more succesful than the rapper’s last album Relapse, which shifted 608,000 over a week.
Em’s duet with RihannaLove The Way You Lie has also proved a massive success selling over 200,000 downloads to go straight to number one on the US Digital Songs chart.
Slim Shady had originally planned to release Relapse 2 but scrapped the idea to put out Recovery.
The album also features guest spots from Lil Wayne and Pink as well as production from Just Blaze, DJ Khalil and Boi 1da.
