Eminem Sets Record With Crack
Shady, Fiddy and Dr Dre go straight to number one Stateside
Eminem has set a new record for highest first week download sales in the United States.
The rappers er, cracking comeback track Crack A Bottle has gone to number one in the Hot 100 shifting a cool 418,000 digital sales.
That beats the record previously set by Rihanna and T.I- who sold 335,000 mp3s of their Live Your Life hit.
What makes the feat more incredible is that there is not a video for the song and it's had no promotion from Em'.
Crack A Bottle- which was previously at 78 in the chart- features a verse and production from Dr Dre and a rap by 50 Cent.
The song is expected to feature on Slim Shadys new album R3lapse but there are also rumours it will be on Fiddys Before I Self Destruct and Dres Detox.
Kelly Clarkson was top of the Hot 100 with My Life Would Suck Without You until today- she has now fallen to four.
