Watch Emma Stone Cry Over The Spice Girls And Sing 'Wannabe'
The Amazing Spider Man star teared up talking to Mel B...
The Amazing Spider-Man star Emma Stone got teary-eyed this morning over a special message from Spice Girl Mel B.
Australia 2Day FM hosts Merrick Watts and Sophie Monk, who were interviewing the star, broke the news that co-host Mel B was unable to attend.
“Wait, Mel B could have been here?” Emma asked before gushing: “I’m gonna cry!”
The Spice Girl did, however, record a video message for Emma, in which she said to the actress: “First of all, I want to say I absolutely adore you. I love you. And I want to say thank you for being such a Spice Girl fan.”
But Mel B wasn’t nicknamed ‘Scary Spice’ for nothing and she quickly put Emma on the spot, adding: “But my question to you is, why did you like Baby Spice and not me more?"
“Your punishment for that, is I want you to do a rendition of one of the Spice Girls songs."
Emma couldn’t wait to take up the challenge saying to Sophie and Merrick: “You guys, I'm really excited about this.”
Prompted by Sophie, who began singing Wannabe, Emma then rapped a verse from the 1990s hit.
And OK, she couldn’t remember all the words but we’ll forgive the Spider Man star for her amazing effort and no doubt Mel B will too.
